HOW TO USE:
Step 1: Print with Laser&Inkjet
For Laser printer
Step 1: Print with LaserJet
Print your design on the BLANK side of the transfer paper.
Please complete the settings below before print:
Set Paper Type to Labels or Heavy 100-150g.
No Mirror printing.
For Inkjet printer
Print your design on the BLANK side of the transfer paper.
Please complete the settings below before print:
Set Paper Type to Plain Paper or Photo Paper.
Set Printing Quality to Photo or High Quality Photo.
No MIRROR Printing.
The settings may vary based on different brands:
HP: Paper Type set to Premium Matte Photo Paper, Paper Quality set to Normal or Best.
EPSON: Paper Type set to Plain Paper, Paper Quality set to Photo.
CANON: Paper Type set to Standard T-Shirt Transfer, Paper Quality set to Standard.
Step 2: Spray Acrylic Coating
After the printed image dries out, spray an even coating of the Acrylic Spray 20cm away from the image slowly and continuously. Let it dry naturally for 1 or 2 hours, or dry it using hairdryer at low temperature.
NOTES:
Make sure the coating covers the image fully and evenly. Spray twice to get best effect.
Acrylic Spray is Crystal Clear Spray Paint. Due to its inflammable nature, it is not included in the pack. You can buy it from local store or online.
Step 3: Cut Out Your Design
Use scissors to cut out your design.
Step 4: Soak In Water
Soak the image in water for 30~50 seconds to separate the backing paper and the transfer film.
NOTES: Don’t soak the image too long, or the film would break during transfer.
Step 5: Slide the Backing
Pick up the decal paper from water, then quickly apply it to the ideal position of your candle. Gently apply the image to the candle. At this time, you can easily slide away the backing paper.
Step 6: Remove Bubbles and Water
After placing the transfer film, use a damp cloth or tissue to remove all the air bubbles and excess water. Make sure there is no bubbles between the image and the candle.
NOTES: If the bubbles don’t remove completely, the decals would be easy to peel off.
Step 7: Dry Naturally
For the non-bakeable items, such as Candles, Nail-Art, Wood, just let it dry naturally for 48 hours.
For the bakeable items, like mugs, cups and more, you can bake it in the oven for best stickness.
Set Oven temperature to 140~160℃(284~320℉) and preheat it for 5 mins.
Put the mug into oven, turn on the upper and lower fire, and bake for 10~15 mins.
After backing done, take out the mug and let it cool to room temperature.
Step 8: Done
Congratulations! Transfer has been done, Enjoy!
NOTES: Ceramics and glasses are NOT dishwasher safe. Please clean it by hands gently.
Tips for Spray Coating
Spray coating is a very important step during transfer, please pay attention to the following points:
1. Please wear a mask during operation.
2. When spray Acrylic Coating, keep it at a distance of 20cm from the image and spray evenly and continuously from left to right, top to bottom. Make sure the image is completely covered.
3. Don't spray too thick, or it's hard to dry out so that the image may dissolve or smudge when soak in water.
4. Once spray done, check whether the coating is even. If not, spray once more on the area where is not covered well.
5. Let the image dry naturally or use a hairdryer at low temperature.
Tips for Baking
For non-bakeable items, such as candles, wood, helmet, just let it dry naturally for 48 hours.
For bakeable items, like mugs, plates, cups, you can bake it for best stickness.
