This is the Official Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera. This new camera is a major improvement from the module 2 camera in that it has 12.3 MegaPixels, instead of 8, thanks to the new Sony IMX477 Sensor. In addition, this new camera features a 7.9mm diagonal image size, a back-illuminated sensor architecture, an adjustable back focus and support for C- and CS-mount lenses. Due to its high resolution images and high sensitivity, the HQ Camera is ideal for lots of application in industry, education and for pure fan projects for hobbyists. This camera is designed to accept CS-mount lenses and the supplied adapter, C-mount lenses. The CGL 6 mm CS-mount and 16 mm C-mount lenses are examples of third-party products that are compatible with the High Quality Camera
