Tips for Cooking Mwea Pishori Rice
- Rinse Thoroughly: Wash the rice under cold water to remove excess starch for fluffier grains.
- Water Ratio: Use 1 part rice to 2 parts water for perfectly cooked rice.
- Cook on Low Heat: After the water boils, reduce the heat and cook on low for evenly cooked, non-sticky rice.
- Let it Rest: After turning off the heat, allow the rice to rest, covered, for 5-10 minutes before serving.
- Enhance Flavor: For extra flavor, use broth or coconut milk instead of water when cooking.
