Absolute Star 400SC is a broad-spectrum fungicide that offers excellent protection against a wide range of fungal diseases in agricultural crops.

Azoxystrobin:Absolute Star 400SC is a broad-spectrum fungicide designed to protect crops from a wide range of fungal infections. 

Active Ingredients

Azoxystrobin: A systemic fungicide with excellent protectant, curative, eradicant, and translaminar properties. It inhibits spore germination at the early stages of fungal development and is active against post-germination stages of the life cycle in a broad range of fungal species. Azoxystrobin also confers anti-sporulant activity against a wide range of diseases.

Difenoconazole: A systemic fungicide with superior preventive and curative properties. It is taken up by the plant and acts on the fungal pathogen during penetration and haustoria formation. It stops the development of fungi by interfering with the biosynthesis of sterols in cell membranes.

Mode of Action

Absolute Star 400SC works by inhibiting the growth and development of fungal pathogens. It has the following properties:

Protectant: Prevents fungal spores from germinating and infecting the plant.

Curative: Controls fungal infections that have already established.

Eradicant: Eliminates existing fungal infections.

Translaminar: Moves through the leaf to protect both sprayed and unsprayed parts of the plant.

Systemic: Moves within the plant to provide protection to all parts of the plant.

Application

Rate of Use: 400 ml per hectare in 800 liters of water (8-10 ml in 20 liters of water).

Timing: Apply as a preventative when weather conditions favor disease development or at the first signs of disease. Three applications at intervals of 7-14 days per cropping season are recommended to minimize resistance build-up.
