[Compatibility] Thermostatic cartridge replacement compatible with a number of different for Moen valves which use the 130156 metallic brass, screw-in thermostatic cartridge. This cartridge is a spare replacement cartridge which is used on other brands of shower mixers and valves.
[Better Operation] The thermostatic water valve is equipped with a one-way valve inside to prevent cold and hot water from flowing together.

[Important] - Please Note This brass screw in version of the 130156 temperature control valve cartridge is the 1st generation of valves which were manufactured before September 3rd, 2009. This valve can be identified by the check stop nut (and the fact that the cartridge is metallic brass). This 130156 replacement thermostatic cartridge will not work in 2nd generation for Moen valves. The 2nd generation valves use a plastic polymer thermostatic cartridge which is a completely different design and size, therefore this metallic brass version will not fit if you have the plastic version of the 130156.
Note:Due to different production batches, there will be differences in color, which will not affect the use.
