Descrtion:

Listed for are LSI 9201-8i SAS HBA controllercards that I fed for with ZFS. They have been fed to Avago /LSI 9211-8i IT (Initiator Target) version P20. This 9201-8iboard is based on the LSI SAS2008 set, and is eentially the samedesign as the 9211-8i card except for the NAM (d for the IRmode R), therefor it runs the 9211-8i IT mode perfectly. Inaddition, I changed the bracket to a full profile bracket withventilation holes to improve airflow over the .

LSI Avago IT mode version P20 SAS ae preservedVentilated standard / full profile bracket2x internal SFF-8087 ports.

These are based on the LSI SAS2008 SAS controller set andsupport -E 2.0 specifications with x8es. The controller has 2SFF-8087 connectors, each carrying 4 SASes. You will need acompatible cable to connect these to your hard drives or a backpe.

These cards are fully d in my rmicro server running ZFS onLinux (ZoL), but this setup is also ideal for other ZFS setups, FreeNAS,unR, Proxmox VE, etc. I have fully d them using all 8 SASes.
